Admission modalities

It is essential to the cohesiveness and success of the group that the young person is motivated enough and able to take part. To begin with we will first meet the young person and at least one parent for an intake interview and together we will assess whether this will be a suitable programme for him/her. 

We ask that you kindly complete our registration/admission form and we will contact you to arrange an admission interview. 

On admission parents and the young person will be supplied with a pack which will include:

• Timetable

• Behaviour Contract

• Group Programme Rules 

• Information on Dialectical Behavioural Therapy

Information, questionnaires or handouts relevant to timetabled sessions will also be provided throughout the programme. 

Financial

The programme will be payable in full in advance for the entire 6 week cycle.

Attendance to all sessions needs to be encouraged as this directly impacts the group dynamics and the ultimate therapeutic effect of the programme on the young people taking part.
