How to make a referral

We ask that you kindly complete our registration/admission form and we will contact you with further information.

We will usually prefer that the young person has an existing treating psychiatrist but we will be happy to examine self referrals.

Clinical coordinator will be in touch with information and an assessment with the relevant therapist will be organised without delay. Consultation with any other professionals previously involved will be encouraged so that any treatment organised is pertinent to the young person’s treatment.

Costing overview

The pricing schedule is designed to closely match the actual treatment prescribed. This ensures full transparency of the process.

It is usual that more support will be needed in the first phase of treatment and subsequently the cost of treatment is likely to be higher at the start.

A price estimate for the programme will be offered after an initial assessment in line with the treatment plan that is devised. The initial assessment will be charged.

The Group programme will be costed separately in one package for every 6-week cycle. Please find more information on the group programme costing here.

Treatment is likely to range between 6 weeks and 3 months for the more intensive component. Following which, the less intensive phase can be variable in length. It is reassuring to know that when a young person reaches this second stage of treatment and that improvements are visible, families are usually quite relieved. The young person subsequently does not require as much support.

Recognition of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy as a treatment model may vary with insurers. Please discuss your insurer's policy with us beforehand as insurers differ greatly in their cover of claims for this form of treatment. You can rely on us to provide support in your dealings with your insurer.
